Join botanical artist and Volunteer Gardener Amber Turner and learn to really look at plants! Learn how to see and pencil sketch botanically accurate structures.
Now that it is autumn, let’s take a look at the structures of trees while checking out fall color. A great time to collect leaves and increase our understanding of them.
This “Teach In” is open to all interests from just observation for pleasure to art laced with botany. However, if you want to do some sketching, bring your own paper and pencil or a simple sketchbook. I will do a demonstration to help you draw. No art experience is necessary – no really it is not! I’ll supply a tree list and garden map.
FREE but reservations required. Email burbankhome@lutherburbank.org to reserve your space.
